Louisiana Marine and Petroleum Institute (LaMPI), an extension of Fletcher Technical Community College, has developed a new and unique cooperative program in response to the area’s need for trained mariners. The next training session begins on Monday, January 7, 2008. Additional classes begin every 6 weeks.
Please print the attached brochure. This is an excellent career path for anyone interested in entering the maritime industry. As stated in the brochure, the average starting pay is $100 per day!
